About Display Minis Hub
Home for the scattered world of display miniature painting and collecting.
Why Display Minis Hub exists
If you're in this hobby, you know the feeling. You see a beautiful painted miniature online - a striking figure or bust with real character - and you have no idea who made it or how to buy one. You want to find it again later, but it's gone. The feed has moved on.
This happens because our hobby is scattered. The miniatures, the artists, the 3D printing and painting services, the paintjobs that inspire us - they all live in many different places: vendor websites, Patreon pages, online stores, and endless social media posts. And the places where we gather, like Facebook and Instagram, are built to keep you scrolling, not to help you find what you're looking for. So the pieces you love slip away - and the people who made them stay out of reach.
This is why I started Display Minis Hub.
To bring the scattered world of display miniature painting and collecting into one place.
A hobby that is accessible to everyone and keeps growing - where hobbyists, creators, and service providers can all thrive.
For painters and collectors, this means one home to discover miniatures and artists, find the services that turn a model into a finished piece, and save the miniatures and paintjobs that inspire you, so you don't lose them again. For the small and medium miniature creators, sculptors, service providers, content creators, and publishers, it means one place to reach their audience and grow. One community, where everyone can succeed.
What you will find here
Display Minis Hub is community-curated. Every miniature, creator, and piece of content is checked to keep it on-theme and clear of noise. It's also shaped by the community: hobbyists help refine and improve the content, so it gets better over time. It's a focused place for one kind of hobby.
That focus means two things:
Display miniatures, not gaming.
We feature figures, busts, and models made to be painted and displayed as art. We don't catalog miniatures meant for tabletop gaming - that's a different hobby, with different needs.
Original work, with respect for intellectual property.
We aim to list only miniatures and creators that respect IP rights. We don't knowingly catalog unofficial miniatures based on popular franchises or characters owned by others, and we take them down quickly if any are flagged. We're here to support original artists and their creativity, not unlicensed copies of someone else's work.
Who's behind it
I'm Aliaksei - originally from Belarus, and living in Berlin, Germany since 2015. I've been in this hobby for about five years. I started like many people do, collecting and painting Warhammer, and soon found that painting was the part I loved most. Later I was drawn to the artistic side of the hobby: larger figures and busts, where every piece carries the style, story, and expression of its creator.
I'm not a professional painter or artist - just someone who fell in love with this art form. I'm a software engineer with twenty years of experience, and building this portal felt like the best way I could give something back to a hobby that's given me so much inspiration and motivation. For now, it's just me building and running it.
Help build it
Display Minis Hub is built to be community-driven. It'll succeed with your support, and here's how you can help:
Spot something wrong, or know a miniature or creator worth adding?
Let us know, or suggest a change, so the catalog stays accurate and keeps growing.
Make miniatures or offer a service?
If you produce miniatures or provide services to the hobby - 3D printing, commission painting, painting classes, and more - get in touch and let's bring your work to the people looking for it.
Create content about display miniatures?
If you share your painted miniatures, or make videos, articles, or other content about the hobby, and would like to be featured on the site, let us know.
Have an idea, feedback, or a collaboration in mind?
I'd really like to hear from you.
